They wanted to have a tailor-made approval system to coordinate document approvals in Salesforce. They needed a solution that would allow some documents to be loaded, sent to the manager to be approved, and followed up on a single dashboard due to the platform limitations.

Timesheet Logging of Products Manufacturing
It was necessary to track the working hours of the employees for a certain manufacturing activity of a product. They sought a solution that was usable for the workers to log time on a daily basis under various products building to be able to get correct effort-based estimates.

Custom Document Upload and Submission Solution
We created a Lightning Web Component (LWC) dashboard that would allow uploading and seeing document records into Salesforce. Whenever an employee sends an approval request, it automatically sends an email through Apex automation to the specified manager to read and make approvals using real-time visibility and easy review.

Email Notification System for Approval Update
The process of automation using an email was established to notify the employees as soon as their document requests were accepted or refused. It was developed in Apex and made communication timely and improved the turnaround of the working process.

Timesheet Logging UI
The timesheet logging interface has been developed specifically on LWC component to enable the employee to log his/her hours against the opportunity products. This made it possible to track the time consumed in manufacturing tasks with ease and to provide more accurate estimates for clients.

Bulk Time Sheet Entries with a Single Click
The functionality of accessing the timesheets by a single click was adopted with a button feature. The component also allowed numerous entries at a time, which made data entry at the end of shifts efficient and fast.
