The client required an internally accessible platform on which attorneys and doctors would be able to offer and handle referrals to patients. The previous approach was characterized by uncoordinated communication using emails and spreadsheets, resulting in delays and inefficiencies.

They needed a secure method to access real-time information about the medical and legal status of every patient at a time, the cost involved, and the settlement made between the doctors and the attorneys. There was a need to present financial information visually so that fast decisions could be made.
Secure Documents Upload & Sharing
As sensitive patient information was being shared, the platform must have provided an upload of encrypted documents, role-based access, and HIPAA compliance to ensure patient confidentiality, freedom of movement, and seamless collaboration.

Custom Community Portal
A nice and safe partner portal was created on Salesforce Experience Cloud. This portal has customization tools to enable smooth coordination of the doctor and attorney to work with each other with a streamlined process and automated notifications instead of a manual system in the past.
Case Progress and Referral Management Dashboards
A dynamic dashboard and referral module were introduced on Salesforce Lightning Components and custom Apex logic. It has made it possible to monitor the status of all referrals, schedules, and milestones of the referrals all at once.
Financial Records Visualization
Salesforce dashboards were also interactively set up to provide real-time financial transactions and settlement status. The report types were custom and had visual charting tools that made the interpretation of data easier for attorneys and healthcare providers.
Role-Based Access
A safe file-sharing system in Salesforce, along with shield platform encryption, was deployed. The platform was HIPAA compliant and had custom user access regulations, so once the sensitive patient files were uploaded, only an authorized user could access them or see them.
